Your questions, answered.

Quick answers to the most common questions about Savva, from setup to subscriptions to what's actually happening on your phone.

What is Savva?

Savva is a personal health app for iPhone. It pulls your medical records from over 280,000+ US care sites, reads any wearable that writes to Apple Health, captures paper labs and PDFs through your camera, and lets you ask 12+ AI models to make sense of all of it. Everything stays on your phone. No account. No cloud.

Who is Savva for?

Anyone who wants to actually understand their own health. People managing chronic conditions like diabetes, hypertension, kidney disease, or thyroid disorders. People on GLP-1s tracking dose changes against weight. Athletes correlating sleep and HRV with training. People preparing for or recovering from surgery. Caregivers managing a parent's records. Anyone whose health data is scattered across portals, apps, and pharmacy PDFs.

Does Savva give medical advice?

No. Savva is a health companion, not a medical professional. It explains your data and helps you prepare for doctor visits, but it does not diagnose, treat, or replace professional care. Always consult a healthcare provider for medical concerns.

Does Savva work with my insurance company?

No. Savva is not a medical product, not a billing tool, and does not interface with insurance.

What platforms does Savva support?

iPhone, running iOS 18 or later. Advanced on-device AI models require iPhone 15 Pro or later for GPU-accelerated inference. An Android version is on the roadmap.

How do I log in to Savva?

You don't. Savva has no account, no email, no password. The app lives on your device and is tied to your phone, not to a Savva user record. If you subscribe to the AI tier, the subscription is managed through your Apple ID, not Savva.

Why no account?

Because we don't want a list of our users. We can't sell, leak, lose, or be subpoenaed for data we don't have. This is the most important architectural decision we made: no Savva account, no Savva cloud, no Savva user record. There is nothing on a server but a software update.

What does Savva use my location data for?

Only to help you find nearby healthcare providers when adding a new EHR connection. Your location is never stored, tracked, transmitted, or used for any other purpose.

What languages does Savva support?

The app interface is available in 17+ languages. On-device OCR (for paper records, lab printouts, and PDFs forwarded on messaging apps) reads in those same 17+ languages. AI responses can be in any language the model you choose supports.

Can Savva work outside the U.S.?

Yes. The 280,000+ connected care sites are concentrated in the U.S. today, but the document scanner, OCR, wearable integration, and AI work everywhere. If you have a paper lab, a discharge summary, or a PDF a doctor sent on WhatsApp, Savva can structure it and add it to your timeline. We are actively expanding international EHR connections.

What kind of push notifications does Savva send?

Notifications related to your health goals: daily step count, workout reminders, sleep schedule nudges, out-of-range biomarker alerts, GLP-1 dose reminders, and similar. You can manage all notification preferences in your device settings.
